The Exhibitions program at AHHA embraces all cultures through contemporary visual arts forms. Community is celebrated when artists and audiences from around the world collaborate to create meaningful visual arts experiences.
AHHA offers 6161 SF of interior gallery space and an outdoor sculpture park for exhibitions. The galleries are part of a newly built contemporary environment designed to support and affirm a multitude of artistic visions.
Individual artists, a consortium of artists, curators, or member arts organizations may submit proposals to exhibit in the AHHA galleries by completing an online proposal form. Proposals are accepted from US and non-US artists. A balance of exhibitions that represents local, national and international artists is desired. Both traditional and new mediums are encouraged. Exhibitions must be principally be visual, but other art mediums may be incorporated. Such mediums may include, but are not limited to, spoken word, music and other sound, dance, film and theatre.
Proposals may be submitted online and are reviewed by the selection panel. The panel is made up of artists, curators and other arts professionals from Tulsa and elsewhere. Finalists will be interviewed and selected applicants notified by September for the following two calendar years. Exhibitions rotate throughout the year.
Individuals may submit no more than one application or be a part of no more than one collaborative application. Member organizations may submit no more than one application. At least one applicant associated with the proposal must be a member of AHHA. An organization must be an AHCT Member Organization. Applicants will have the opportunity to become a member during the application process. If already a member, please either list the name of the individual or member organization.
