Upcoming 2014 Exhibitions
September 5 – 28 | Loft Gallery Classical Impressions, a collaboration with the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra, is a series of paintings artist Christopher Westfall hopes will encourage viewers to experience the wonder he felt when he watched the symphony and again as he painted each painting.
October 3 – November 23 | Creative Studios Artist Jessica Harvey’s Mother Road is a project derived from the history and myths that come from traveling Route 66, which illustrates journeys – both personal and shared – through road trips, driving and discovery.
October 3 – November 23 | Main Gallery Ceramic and sculptural work by Keith Ekstam, Kevin W. Hughes and Howard Koerth that references imagery relevant to humankind, including geological features, architecture, and mechanical, organic and human forms.
October 16 – November 23 | DIY Gallery The History of African Wax Prints exhibition is a tribute to the vibrant and colorful African Prints with myriad patterns of leaves, flowers, hearts and geometric shapes. This exhibition traces the pathway of the African Print that has crossed over three continents from Asia through Europe to Africa.
