This course is an exploration of Adobe’s vector drawing application that is used by illustrators and designers. Illustrator allows you to beautiful designs that can be scaled up without any loss of image quality because the images are made of vectors, not pixels. Clean and precise, it is the perfect complement to Photoshop. A variety of drawing and painting techniques will be presented.
Michael McRuiz is a photographic artist and Assistant Professor of Digital media at Tulsa Community College, where he has been teaching Adobe creative applications for 17 years. He earned BFA and MA degrees in painting at the University of Tulsa and approaches photography from a painter’s perspective.
