You’ll learn the basics of sawing, annealing, texturing, soldering, and more. By the end of the course, students will leave with two or three complete pieces (pendant, cuff, and/or ring). This introductory class is a great way to explore the basic techniques and skills needed to make your own jewelry. All skill levels are welcome – no experience is necessary. Just bring your creativity!
Participants in the class will have 1–2 hours of “homework” that they may complete during ahha’s Open Studios sessions on Thursdays and Sundays. During this time, you’ll have access to our tools and equipment and Audrey will be available for coaching.
Basic supplies for this class are provided and are included in the course cost. Additional stones and decorative elements will be available for purchase as requested.
Audrey Peck is a jewelry artist living and working in Oklahoma. She completed her MFA from East Carolina University in 2014 and a BFA from Oklahoma State University in 2004.
