This workshop will be taught virtually over Zoom.
If we have to wear masks, we might as well look stylish doing it! In this 2-hour workshop, learn how to sew your own fabric face mask with ties.
Registrants need to have a sewing machine with thread and a needle and 1/2 yard of fabric of their own choosing. Cotton fabric scraps you have will work great – pillowcases, old sheets, t-shirts, etc.
Briana is a mother, teacher, and artist. She has been teaching adult English as a Second Language for twelve years and loves being in the classroom. When she is not teaching, she is making. She has only been sewing for the past six years, but in that time, she has led children’s textile summer camps, has taught sewing classes, has created large scale textile projects, and has been a featured speaker at numerous engagements. She enjoys approaching large-scale or multi-phased projects with respect for the craft, appreciation for every stage, and trust for the process.
