Classes & Workshops

zine making workshop

Join artist John Bryant for this one-day workshop on the art and history of zine making. You’ll learn about the history of zines, tools of the trade, binding and folding techniques, and means of sharing your zine with others. You’ll leave this class with your very own zine and templates for future creations.

About the Instructor

John’s art is informed by surrealism and its relations, collage, printmaking, photography, narrative, and weird fiction. He received his MFA from the University of Tulsa. As Studio Supervisor at ahha, he manages the technical operations of the printmaking and digital media labs. John was born in Tulsa, and grew up in Austin, Texas. His favorite condiment is BBQ sauce.

Thanks to the generosity of many donors, ahha Tulsa provides camp, class, and workshop scholarships to K–12 students with demonstrated financial need.
