Cost

$25/1 unit per hour of residency + one-time $100/4 unit planning fee

Booking

Maria will choreograph movement for your choral concert, seasonal concert, or other performance, including school musicals. She will rehearse movement with the students who will be performing and will provide the teacher with videos of the movement so students can rehearse outside of time with the artist. Maria will draw on her years as an elementary music teacher creating movement for her own students, as well as collaborating with other teachers, to assist you in creating movement for programs, performances, etc.

Time Availability

Artist is only available virtually Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM.

Materials Needed

Sheet music and/or recordings of the songs to be choreographed

Space Requirements

Classroom with desks and chairs pushed aside, auditorium, or large multi-purpose rooom

Advanced Preparation

Send sheet music or recording of the music to be choreographed to the artist ahead of time.

Additional Notes

Artists in the Schools is available for use by all schools and educational institutions, public or private. Program costs are listed on individual offering pages. Tulsa, Jenks, and Owasso Public Schools teachers and staff are able to book through Artists in the Schools at no cost to individual sites because district funds have been allocated to the program. Some restrictions may apply; contact us for details.
