THE STUDIO is ahha’s arts-based makerspace. Here, you can tinker with visual arts materials, specialized tools, and recycled materials. You’re invited to explore, invent, and play.
Need some creative direction? Our egg vendor machine dispenses free, random Creative Challenges designed to spark your imagination.
An educator in a green ahha apron, called a STUDIO Ambassador, will greet you when you arrive and provide you with quick introduction to the space. They’re there to help encourage your explorations, provide advice on materials and tools, and answer questions.
THE STUDIO is ahha’s arts-based makerspace. Access to THE STUDIO is included with regular ahha admission and is open to visitors of all interests, ages, and artistic abilities. General supplies and materials are provided.
Classes and workshops provide a deeper dive into specific media or topics. We offer classes for a variety of ages and skill levels. Creative Camps are weeklong courses for youth ages 5–18. Advance registration is required for classes, workshops, and Creative Camps.
Open Studio Hours are designed for artists and hobbyists who desire access to our printmaking, metals, photography, and digital media labs. The $10 Open Studios Fee can be paid upon entry to the ahha Tulsa Hardesty Center.

Activities in THE STUDIO are designed for visitors of all ages to flex their creative muscles. On Saturdays from 5:00–9:00 PM, we offer additional activities for adults during THE STUDIO After Dark.
