Ahha features one of the only public professional photography labs in the city of Tulsa. Our lab includes complete black and white facilities for developing and printing, plus a digital media lab to scan film for digital output up to 44″ wide. 35mm, 120 and 4×5″ film format developing and scanning are compatible with our equipment. Our state-of-the-art darkroom is able to process both resin coated and fiber based papers up to 16×20″. We can accommodate alternative processes, digital negatives and more. Photography Suite/Darkroom Open Studios gives individuals with previous darkroom experience the opportunity to use the black & white photography lab. The lab includes complete black & white facilities for film processing and printing.
Every third Saturday of the month will be a structured introductory class to teach individuals the skills needed to work independently during open studio hours. Darkroom chemistry is provided. Participants must bring their own film and paper. Also included during Open Studio Hours is the lighting studio.
Thursdays from 4-9 PM
Sundays from 12-7 PM
Anyone may purchase Open Studio Hours on an as-needed basis for $10 per session (per person).
